    Texas to Miami Anyone will tell you that the drive through Texas is gruelling. The state just seems to go on and on forever. To add insult to injury, there were multiple accidents along the way. It seemed like the traffic was stop and go from San Antonio all the way to the Louisiana border. No offense to Texans, but they aren’t the greatest drivers.     Miami By Way of Havana – Part 1

    We’re finally on the road. We packed Havana up and are ready to go. The kitties have packed their favorite toys and we’re off. Heading East We left late on the first day. We only drove a few hours, made it to Willcox, and called it a night. We dry camped at the back of the parking lot at a Harvest Host location called the Cattle Rest Saloon and RV Park.     Getting Havana Ready to Roll

    We’ve named the van Havana, for now anyway. We’ll see if it sticks. It seems appropriate for a trip to Miami, the date of which is fast approaching. It seems like there’s always one more thing to do to get ready.  I feel like we really won’t know what we need until we don’t have it..and so it goes. The Kitties My biggest concern is making sure the kitties have what they need to feel safe.  Maria and I can be more flexible.  We’ll figure it out as we go.  They have food, a litter box, toys, a pole, and…
